What was the outcome of this case? Just curious (if you can say)…
@onedreamergirl So which is worse, lawyer being firm and asking pointed questions, or mother lying about an emergency that needs immediate action and kids snatched from father who BTW is equal in legal status to mother? The lawyer is doing his job and acting in the interest of his client. Mother has her-own attorney there to guide her. It’s a level playing field; mom needs to put-up or shut-up. Using technology to good advantage in this situation. Really makes this easier and cheaper. Good video
The attorney speaking is very quick, I love it! Very strong without raising his voice.
I feel sorry for this woman. It must be hard not having her children with her. I would be very upset. The lawyer questioning her is at times sarcastic and bullying, which isn’t very professional.
Thanks for note. Yes, my client gave permission although not required. You’re welcome. Email any time.
don’t you breach some ethical rules by revealing all this information? hopefully you have your client’s permission to air this online. either way, thanks for the inside view!
I agree – I don’t mean to sterotype – but she just seems to be a lying opportunist by her demeanor. I have a tenant with her same demeanor – who uses her kids to manipulate others. I was a single mom for man years – so I am not bias – she just seems to be scummy – SUE ME
Interesting hearing. Emergency motion withdrawn. Court is now considering mother’s motion for contempt and father’s motion for modification. Children remain in school in New York where they want to stay. Mother’s interest seems to be collecting child support for 3 kids rather than their best interests. Judge ordered memos of law and scheduled more hearings. No end in sight.
Just a couple of days away. I assume you’ll be well prepared. Good luck.

Hearing was not completed – continued to January 16. In the interim, judge suspended child support (father to mother) as children are with father in New York.
Happy and healthy New Year to you Chuck!
So, how did the hearing turn out? Pick-up Order granted or denied?
Not so Chuck. Deposition taken on a Friday afternoon for use at “emergency” hearing the following Monday. The video was used to impeach the witness/mother who gave inconsistent testimony at the hearing. Much more effective to impeach with video than transcript. This was classic demonstration of how NOT to prepare client for deposition. When parents use kids as pawns for their own financial gain, shame on them! Thanks for your good wishes for “Deli!”
Showing off for the camera in a deposition you know beforehand that you’re going to post on YouTube is pretty pathetic. You make yourself look like the typical bullying family law/matrimonial hack. Good luck with the “Deli.”
